Eye Examinations that Are All About You
Dr. Murphy believes that eye examinations are much more than just a clinical observation of the eyes. They are about having a true doctor-patient relationship, which means taking the time to understand the activities, work environments, and other factors that impact vision and eye health.
Using state-of-the-art eye examination technology, Dr. Murphy will be able to tell you the overall “wellness” of your eyes and identify potential eye-health issues that may require treatment. As part of her personal, holistic approach, Dr. Murphy takes the time to explore things like . . .
Dry Eyes
Redness and Irritation
Effects of Extended Periods on the Computer
Visual Requirements of Sports and Hobbies
Fatique Issues
Work Environments
Allergies
Night-Time Vision
Dr. Murphy believes that by taking the time to know you and what you are experiencing will always lead to a better eyecare solution.
Our Equipment
Emerald EyeCare prides itself on maintaining state-of-the-art eye examination equipment. Some of our systems include . . .
The Smart Mirror
For patients with high prescriptions, it’s often hard to actually “see”
what you look like in a new frame style. The Smart Mirror takes a digital photograph of you wearing the new frame styles, then displays a full-screen, high resolution image (4 photos per screen) that allows you to actually see which one looks best. This is an excellent tool for patients to select the frame that is uniquely theirs.
An Automated Refracting System
This system allows us to import data from your preliminary diagnostic tests to better conduct and efficiently obtain your final prescription. There are very few of these in the state of Ohio.
In-Office Finishing Lab
This allows us to do some of the work right here on our premises to help expedite quick turnaround jobs, or actually perform work that may require additional craftsmanship. |
